heyAura and Aurora Intents: Better Quotes and Lower Gas Fees

heyAura is integrating Aurora Intents, a cross-chain execution layer built by Aurora and powered by NEAR Intents.
The integration expands the infrastructure that heyAura uses for swaps and bridges, with three main benefits for users: more competitive quotes, simpler cross-chain workflows, and lower gas costs for compatible transactions.
Benefits of integrating Aurora Intents
More competitive quotes
Aurora Intents uses a solver network powered by NEAR Intents, in which independent solvers compete to fulfill transaction intents at competitive prices. Its cross-chain swap infrastructure also provides best-rate routing across its supported networks.
By adding Aurora Intents to heyAura's execution infrastructure, heyAura can access more available quotes and routing options when preparing eligible swaps and bridges.
This gives users a wider execution pool and can result in better quotes depending on the assets, networks, available liquidity, and current market conditions.

Simpler swaps and bridges
Cross-chain transactions usually involve several infrastructure components, including liquidity sources, bridges, network-specific transactions, and settlement mechanisms
Aurora Intents combines these components into a single cross-chain execution layer. Its infrastructure handles routing and conversion across supported networks and supports multi-step, composable transaction flows.
heyAura interprets the requested action and prepares the transaction using the available execution infrastructure. The user retains control and provides final approval before execution.

Lower gas fees and faster execution
Aurora Intents combines multiple transactions and supports multi-step execution within a single coordinated flow. Gas still depends on the network, route, and conditions, but combining transactions lowers fees.
This is particularly relevant for heyAura, as the assistant can prepare batch transactions with a single prompt that would otherwise require several separate onchain operations. This workflow removes complexity, saves transaction time, and reduces gas fees.
One prompt. One approval. Cross-chain.

What is Aurora Intents?
Aurora Intents provides infrastructure for executing transactions across different blockchain networks. It currently supports more than 30 chains and uses NEAR Intents together with Aurora's execution engine for cross-chain swaps and multi-step flows.
The system is based on intent-driven execution. An intent describes the outcome a user wants to achieve, while the underlying infrastructure handles routing, conversion, liquidity, and settlement.
Expanding heyAura's execution infrastructure
Aurora Intents joins the growing set of infrastructure providers behind heyAura's transaction capabilities.
The integration gives heyAura access to additional cross-chain liquidity and routing through the NEAR Intents solver network, while Aurora's execution engine adds support for composable multi-step flows.
For heyAura users, the result is straightforward: more routing options, simpler swap and bridge workflows, and more efficient transactions where batching is available.
This integration is another step towards our goal to provide better, more cost-effective, and time-saving services within heyAura.
